Key Features and Specifications

Below are the major technical points for this configuration (MPN 365AXGCA-9-LEGION-RXSL, UPC 798681725236) and why they matter in real use.

Core build: AXG metal grip module (carry-centric balance)

• AXG (Alloy XSeries Grip) all-metal grip module: Unlike standard polymer P365 modules, the AXG frame adds weight where it counts—down in the hand—improving stability in recoil and helping the pistol track flatter during rapid strings.\
• G10 grip panels: G10 provides durable, consistent texture that stays grippy with sweat, rain, or gloves, without feeling “tacky” against cover garments.
• Legion Gray Cerakote: A corrosion-resistant finish that also gives the pistol the distinctive Legion-series appearance.

9mm performance in a 3.1″ barrel format

• Caliber: 9mm
• Barrel length: 3.1 inches (the classic P365 length that keeps the gun highly carry-friendly)
• Action: striker-fired, semi-automatic

A 3.1″ 9mm keeps the pistol compact for inside-the-waistband carry and short holster profiles, while remaining capable with modern defensive loads.

Integrated expansion chamber (comp-style recoil management)

This model’s slide uses an integrated expansion chamber concept (often described as an integrated comp approach). Practically, the goal is simple: vent gas upward to reduce muzzle rise and make the gun return to the sight picture faster. Multiple independent write-ups describe the AXG Legion’s integrated expansion chamber / compensator arrangement as a key differentiator for shootability compared to standard micro-compacts.

Optics system: factory-installed ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact

This package includes a factory-installed SIG Sauer ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact, designed specifically around SIG’s SIG-LOC optic-ready P365 slide interface.

Key optic takeaways that matter to end-users:

• Bottom-mount SIG-LOC system with multiple contact points to enhance zero retention under recoil and hard use.
• Fully enclosed, sealed 7075-aluminum housing (a durability advantage for carry guns that live close to the body, collect lint, and get bumped around).
• Side-loading battery design to allow battery changes without removing the optic (reducing the odds you’ll need to re-zero).
• MOTAC motion activation for extended runtime and “always-ready” behavior.

These are manufacturer-stated features for the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact line and are central to why this pistol/optic combo is attractive as a ready-to-run system.

Sighting: XRAY3 day/night irons (backup + speed)

• XRAY3 day/night sights provide high visibility across lighting conditions.
• With the low deck height of the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact design, the pistol is intended to support practical co-witnessing with standard-height irons (helpful for defensive redundancy).

Capacity and included magazines

• 17-round capacity
• Includes 3 magazines

In practical terms, this means you’re getting duty-level onboard ammunition in a compact, carryable platform—plus enough mags out of the box to train realistically (carry mag + spare + dedicated training mag).
